DattaRemit is now ComplyRemit

Rates and fees shown before you send.

Transfers are priced from a mid-market reference rate that refreshes through the day, with no margin hidden in it. The review screen shows what you send, the rate and what your recipient receives before you confirm. Rates on this website and your dashboard are indicative, for estimating.

What exchange rate does ComplyRemit use?

A mid-market reference rate — the midpoint between the buying and selling rates, the one you would see quoted on Google — refreshed every few minutes. The amount your recipient receives is what you send multiplied by that rate, and customers with a member badge receive a small bonus on top.

How much does a transfer cost?

We do not hide a margin in the exchange rate, which is where most transfer costs are disguised. The review screen shows what you send, the rate and what your recipient receives before you confirm, so the cost of a transfer is visible before you commit to it.

The review screen shows the local-currency equivalent at the moment you confirm; the final amount is confirmed when the payout is made.

Why are the rates on the website indicative?

Because exchange rates move constantly and a transfer is priced when you send it, not when you look. The rates on this site and on your dashboard help you estimate what a recipient will get. The review screen, just before you confirm, shows the rate for your transfer.

What are member rates?

Some customers hold a Silver or Gold member badge, which adds a flat bonus in rupees for every dollar sent, on top of the reference rate. It is not a percentage. The bonus appears on your rate card and is included in what your recipient receives. Badges are awarded by our team.

How do I compare your price with another provider?

Compare the amount the recipient actually receives for the same send amount, at the same moment. A low or zero fee means little if the exchange rate has been widened, and a good rate means little if a fee is taken first. The amount received is the only figure that includes both.
