Pay a UPI ID or bank account anywhere in India.
Add a recipient once with their Indian bank account number and IFSC code, or their UPI ID. Each account is checked with the bank before its first payout, so a mistyped IFSC or a closed account is caught before you send. You can also send to your own NRE or NRO account.
UPI or bank account
Rupees delivered to an Indian bank account either way.
Checked before payout
Account details are confirmed with the bank, usually in seconds.
Send to yourself
Pay your own NRE or NRO account in India.
Saved for next time
A repeat transfer is just an amount and a code.
Should I pay a UPI ID or a bank account?
Both deliver rupees to an Indian bank account. A UPI ID is one short string, so there is less to get wrong, but UPI payouts have a lower per-transfer ceiling. For larger amounts use the account number and IFSC code. Each payout method is saved separately, and you choose how the recipient is paid.
How do I know the account details are right?
Every recipient's account is verified with their bank before the first payout — a check often called a penny drop. It usually takes a few seconds. If the IFSC is wrong, the account is closed or the details do not match, you find out then, before any of your money is sent.
A recipient shows as not verified, verifying, verified or cannot be paid, so it is always clear whether a transfer to them will go through.
Can I send money to my own bank account in India?
Yes. Add your own Indian bank account under Send to yourself and choose whether it is an NRE or an NRO account. NRE accounts hold money earned abroad and can be moved back out freely; NRO accounts are for income earned in India. Transfers to yourself go to a bank account, not a UPI ID.
How does the money reach the recipient?
Over India's domestic payment rails, in Indian rupees. Bank payouts use IMPS for most amounts and RTGS for larger ones; UPI payouts are credited to the bank account behind the UPI ID. Once your money has been collected, a payout usually lands within a few hours.
Can I save recipients and change them later?
Yes. Recipients are saved to your account with their name and optional email and phone, so sending again takes only an amount and a confirmation code. You can add a UPI ID to an existing recipient, choose their primary account, and edit or remove recipients at any time.
