ComplyRemit vs Remitly

Remitly is a remittance-focused provider covering a wide set of corridors, offering both a faster priced tier and a slower economy tier.

What is the difference between ComplyRemit and Remitly?

Remitly is a remittance service for many countries, with payout choices that include bank deposit, cash pickup and mobile wallets, and a choice between a faster and a slower tier. ComplyRemit serves one corridor, the United States to India, pays out only to a bank account or UPI ID, and has a single way to send.

Does ComplyRemit have faster and slower tiers like Remitly?

No. ComplyRemit has one way to send and one rate, so you never choose between paying more for speed and waiting for a better price. You fund a transfer from your linked US bank account, and the rupees typically reach the recipient within 48 hours of the debit from that account.

Is ComplyRemit or Remitly cheaper for sending money to India?

Only a like-for-like quote answers that. Where a provider has tiers, pick the one you would use and pay by bank account on both. Enter the same dollar amount on both sites at the same moment, then compare the rupees each says the recipient will receive. The fee line alone tells you little.

Should I compare on my first transfer or on the ones after it?

On the ones after it. Many transfer services price a first transfer differently from later ones, so a single trial says little about what a monthly sender pays over a year. Ask each provider for the quote an existing customer gets, or compare again on your second and third transfers before you settle on one.

When Remitly is the better choice

If you need cash pickup, mobile-wallet payout, or a corridor we do not serve, Remitly's coverage is broader than ours.

A note on the numbers

We publish no exchange rate or fee figures for Remitly on this page. We have no way to source their live pricing, keep it current or date it, and an out-of-date number about a competitor, published by a money transmitter, is worse than no number. Compare the two live quotes instead; our five checks for comparing any two providers take about two minutes.
